Regular Season Record: 8-4

Miami had its five-game win streak get snapped in Week 14, as the Dolphins lost to the San Francisco 49ers on the road, 33-17. Tua Tagovailoa struggled in that game, in part because of a banged-up Dolphins offensive line. But it is expected to be better in Week 14, with Terron Armstead in line to return to action. The pair of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle could be back to 100% form. Hill had 146 receiving yards and a touchdown on 9 catches in the loss to the Niners, while Waddle, who briefly exited the game before returning due to an injury, only had a catch for 9 yards. Waddle should be much better this time, though, given the fact that was still able to practice Wednesday. Miami can find holes in the Chargers’ beatable defense which is 30th in the league with 235.8 points allowed per game.

The Dolphins are 5-0 against the spread in their last five Week 14 games.

Bet on the Miami Dolphins

Betting on the Los Angeles Chargers (+3.0)

Regular Season Record: 6-6

The Chargers are coming off a 27-20 road loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, which was LA’s third in four games. That said, their recent struggles don’t mean that the Bolts are going to be pushovers for the Dolphins. Justin Herbert can sling the ball, and he could be getting a major weapon back, with wide receiver Mike Williams finally practicing this week after missing the Raiders game with an ankle injury. Williams is a matchup problem because of his size, and he’ll be a great end-zone weapon for the Chargers versus the Dolphins, who are just 28th in the NFL in denying opposing teams from scoring a touchdown when inside the red zone.

The Chargers, who are averaging 22.7 points per game, have seen the total hit the Over in seven of their last 10 games at home.
