Baltimore edged the Pittsburgh Steeler in Week 14, 16-14, for the Ravens’ second win in a row. And the Ravens beat the Steelers even though they did not have Lamar Jackson, who is nursing a knee injury. Jackson will likely still be unavailable in Week 15 and Tyler Huntley is in concussion protocol, so third-string QB Anthony Brown could get the start against the Browns. In any case, the Ravens have a deep backfield that has just gotten back JK Dobbins which they can use to upend Cleveland’s questionable run defense. Blatimore rushed for 160 yards and two touchdowns in Week 7’s 23-20 home win over the Browns.
The Ravens are 5-2 against the spread in their last seven road games.
Betting on the Cleveland Browns (+3.0)
Regular Season Record: 5-8
Deshaun Watson is still far from his top form, but he’s getting there. In his second game back from suspension, Watson passed for 276 yards and a touchdown with an interception on 26/42 completions and also rushed for 33 yards on six carries. Despite the rusts from a long layoff, Watson should be able to outplay whichever backup QB the Ravens play in Week 15. Watson is surrounded by plenty of weapons, and it appears that he’s developed a great chemistry with tight end David Njoku, who has been productive of late. He has a touchdown in each of his last two games to go with 88 receiving yards on 12 receptions and 16 targets during that span.
The Under is 4-0 in the Browns’ last four games on a Saturday.
Writer’s Prediction
The Browns win, 24-17.
