The Hurricanes’ offense has been fantastic for the most part this season, and it entered the Wake Forest game 20th nationally with an average of 79.7 points per game. They are also top 25 in the nation in terms of effective field goal percentage and 2-point shooting percentage. In their 92-83 home win versus Virginia Tech last January, the Hurricanes shot 58.3 FG% and 42.1 3FG%.

Virginia Tech is coming off a 79-72 win at home last Saturday versus the Pittsburgh Panthers. Senior forward Grant Basile paced the Hokies in that game with 22 points on 8/23 shooting. As a team, Virginia Tech shot 55.6 FG% and went 9/19 from behind the arc against Pittsburgh. The Hokies have also one of the best offenses in the ACC, averaging 108.3 points per 100 possessions heading into the Panthers game. They are also pretty good in ball security, consistently ranking inside the top 15 in the nation in terms of offensive turnover rate.
