Line: Phoenix Suns (+5.0) vs. Denver Nuggets (-5.0) – view all 2020-21 NBA lines

TV Broadcast: TNT

Betting on the Phoenix Suns (+5.0)

Regular Season Record: 45-37

The Suns owned Game 4 with a 129-124 victory. Their offense was hot anew in that contest, thanks to the prolific performances of Devin Booker and Kevin Durant, who each had 36 points. Booker has been particularly unbelievable in the series due to his efficiency. So far in the second round, the former Kentucky Wildcats star is averaging 36.3 points per game on a ridiculous 63.7 field goal shooting percentage. Over their last 10 games, the Suns have averaged 116.8 points, 41.6 rebounds, 25.7 assists, 6.4 steals, and 5.3 blocks. They shot 49.6 percent from the field and held opponents to only 115.7 points over the same stretch.

The Suns are 11-5 against the spread in their last 16 games on a Tuesday.

Betting on the Denver Nuggets (-5.0)

Regular Season Record: 53-29

Perhaps even better than Booker in this series is Nikola Jokic, who is coming off a monster performance in Game 4. Jokic produced 53 points and assisted on 11 other Nuggets baskets in the Nuggets’ loss last Sunday on the road. Meanwhile, Jamal Murray chipped in 28 points on 13/.25 shooting. It was mostly just Jokic and Murray carrying Denver in that game, so there should be an increased focus on the others to contribute in Game 5. Aaron Gordon, Michael Porter Jr., and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope will look to get hot on Tuesday. Over their last 10 games, the Nuggets have averaged 114.0 points, 44.8 rebounds, 24.6 assists, 7.8 steals, and 3.3 blocks per game. They connected on 48.5 percent of their attempts from the field and limited opponents to only 106.6 points in that same span. The Nuggets are 5-1 against the spread in their last six home games versus a team with a losing record in enemy territory.

Writer’s Prediction

The Suns win, 120-118.
