Line: New England Patriots (+3) at New York Giants (-3); total: 41.5 – view all NFL lines
The New York Giants may have started the preseason with a 4-0 slate but head coach Tom Coughlin is still not satisfied with his team’s offense. In fact, he has decided to use his main starters for their final preseason game against the Patriots.
[sc:Other240banner ]One of his main concerns is the form of his starting quarterback Eli Manning who has struggled with the Giants’ newly-installed West Coast offense throughout this preseason campaign. Through four games, he has completed just 19-of-37 passes for 188 yards with just one touchdown and zero picks. He showed some improvement, however, in his last outing against the Jets where he completed 12-of-21 passes for 139 yards and converted his first touchdown pass of the season.
The Patriots, on the other hand, are coming off a 30-7 victory over the Carolina Panthers to improve their preseason record to 2-1. Brady completed 17-of-21 passes for 204 yards as he connected with two touchdown passes with Shane Vereen.
This is the 10th straight season where the Giants and Pats will meet in the final preseason game. The Giants lead the overall preseason match-up with a 14-9 edge over the Patriots in 23 previous meetings.
Writer’s Prediction
The Giants (-3) will edge past the Patriots and complete the preseason sweep.
Oakland Athletics vs. Los Angeles Angels (10:05 PM ET)
Line: Oakland Athletics (-120) at Los Angeles Angels (+110); total: 7.5 – view all MLB lines
The Oakland Athletics will send Sonny Gray (13-7, 3.00 ERA) to the mound later tonight in the opening game of a crucial three-game set against the Los Angeles Angels as they look to share the top spot in the American League West once again.
In his last outing, Sonny Gray ended a month-long losing streak as he led the A’s to a 5-3 win over the Angels last Friday night. He allowed three runs and six hits over 8 1/3 innings of work as he put to an end a four-game losing rut that started last August 1.
The Angels will counter with lefty C.J. Wilson (10-8, 4.45 ERA) who has been solid in his last three starts for the Angels. He has allowed a total of five earned runs in 18 1/3 innings of action in his last three assignments posting a 2-0 record during that stretch.
In his last appearance, Wilson limited the Athletics to a single run in 6 1/3 innings as he got a no-decision in a 2-1 defeat to the A’s.
The Athletics are 3-7 in their last ten road games while the Angels are 5-5 in their last ten games at home. The Angels own a 3-2 edge against the A’s in their last five meetings at Angel Stadium.

Sonny Gray will power the Athletics (-120) to an easy win over the Angels. Create a betting account now and bet on the best games of the day.
