Phoenix Suns vs. Oklahoma City Thunder (8:00 PM ET)

Line: Phoenix Suns (+7) at Oklahoma City Thunder (-7); total 213.0view these lines

[sc:NBA240banner ]Oklahoma City’s Russell Westbrook is one of the elite point guards in the NBA. The only problem is, he didn’t play like one against Dallas on Sunday, shooting .261 from the field and had five turnovers. Westbrook will have his hands full tonight against the visiting guards of the Phoenix Suns.

The Suns may be able to do some damage with their backcourt duo of Goran Dragic and Eric Bledsoe. Dragic is one of the league’s sharpshooters with a .496 field goal percentage, while Bledsoe has scored above 20 points and had eight rebounds in each of his last two games.

Writer’s Prediction

The Thunder struggle without Kevin Durant. Take the Suns to cover +7.

San Jose Sharks vs. Anaheim Ducks (8:00 PM ET)

Line: San Jose Sharks (+115) at Anaheim Ducks (-135); total 5.0view these lines

The San Jose Sharks are on a three-game losing streak after Tuesday night’s 3-1 drubbing from the Vancouver Canucks. They travel to Anaheim to meet the Western Conference leading Ducks. The Sharks have met the Ducks three times this season, winning two of those encounters.

San Jose netminder Antti Niemi has a 2.67 GAA with a .920 save percentage against the Ducks this season. Their inability to find the back of the net, scoring only four goals during their three-game tailspin, may hurt them. It doesn’t help San Jose that Ducks goaltender Frederik Andersen has been excellent as of late. Andersen is 3-0-1 in his last four games, allowing only five goals in that span.

Writer’s Prediction

The Ducks win. Take Anaheim at -135 for some value on your bet.
