[sc:NFL240banner ]After going down against the St. Louis Rams, 34-31, in Week 1, Russell Wilson and the Seahawks travel to Lambeau Field, where a familiar opponent in the form of the Green Bay Packers await them. Against St. Louis, Wilson had 251 passing yards, a touchdown, and interception. He was sacked six times, so the Seahawks’ offensive line will have to come out better this time around.
The Packers, on the other hand, will play their first home game of the season on the heels of a 31-23 victory over the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field last week. Aaron Rodgers and James Jones look to sustain their momentum after hooking up for two touchdowns in the Chicago game. The Seahawks are 3-1 ATS in their last four road games, while the Packers are 9-1 SU in their last 10 home games.
Writer’s Prediction
The Packers (-3.5) win, 28-26

CC Sabathia no longer have the stuff that made him one of the most fearsome pitchers back in his prime, but he’ll have to pitch well nonetheless later tonight. Sabathia is coming off a solid effort in the Yankees’ 4-1 win against Tampa on September 14, wherein he tossed six-plus scoreless innings. As for the Mets, they will give the ball to Matt Harvey, who is looking to bounce back following a forgettable performance, albeit in an 8-7 win over Washington on September 8. In that game, Harvey (12-7, 2.88 ERA) let seven earned runs on eight hits in five plus innings of work. The Yankees are 2-1 in Sabathia’s last three starts at Citi Field, while the Mets are 7-3 in Harvey’s last 10 home starts.
Writer’s Prediction
The Yankees win, 6-4.
