TV Broadcast: FOX
Betting on the Arizona Cardinals (-2.5)
Regular Season Record: 8-2
Without Kyler Murray for the second game in a row, the Cardinals suffered a 34-10 home loss to Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers in Week 10. But Murray could be returning to action this week, as he has reportedly already practiced three straight times, which is a good sign for his availability for Week 11’s matchup against Seattle. Meanwhile, wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins appears to be more uncertain to play than Murray, as he has yet to practice this week. But as long as Murray will be available, the Cardinals’ offense should be in good shape. Christian Kirk, AJ Green, Zach Ertz, and James Conner are all threats to come up huge for Arizona that is fourth in the NFL with 28.7 points per game.
The Cardinals are 5-0 against the spread in their last 5 games after a loss of more than 14 points.
Betting on the Seattle Seahawks (+2.5)
Regular Season Record: 3-6
The Seahawks are fresh off an embarrassing 17-0 loss to the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field back in Week 10. Russell Wilson had zero touchdown passes and was intercepted twice while connecting on only 20/40 passes. He was perfectly bottled by Green Bay’s defense. But the Seahawls could rebound right away, as Arizona seems to have been of a letdown as well defensively of late. The Cardinals were particularly bad against the run in Week 10, when the Panthers rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns on 37 carries. Arizona, in fact, has a middle-of-the-road run defense that is allowing 116.6 yards per game and 31st with 4.8 yards per carry.
The Seahawks will come into Sunday’s game with a 3-1-1 record against the spread in their last five Week 11 games.
Writer’s Prediction
The Cardinals win, 27-24.
