It would be better for the Arizona Cardinals to lose Week 17 than win it against the Seattle Seahawks, so as not to complicate their status as the projected winner of the top pick in next year’s NFL Draft. That said, this could be the last NFL game of future Hall of Famer Larry Fitzgerald, and the Cardinals definitely would not like his possible farewell game end in a loss. Will the Cardinals win one for Larry Legend? Or will the Seahawks (+4,000 to win Super Bowl 53) get a win before hitting the playoff?

Betting on the Arizona Cardinals (3-12)
The Cardinals can’t wait for this season to end. This year has been nothing but a disaster for the franchise, who enter Week 17 with a 3-12 SU record and riding a three-game losing skid. The last time they were on the field, the Cardinals were mauled by the Los Angeles Rams at home in a 31-9 loss. As expected, Cardinals rookie quarterback Josh Rosen was tortured behind a poor offensive line, as he finished that game with only 87 passing yards with zero touchdowns on 12-of-23 completions. He was also sacked four times. However, there’s real chance that he’ll churn out a much more inspired performance in the rematch with the Seahawks, against whom he posted his best performance of the season back in a 20-17 home loss in Week 4. In the first meeting with Seattle, Rosen had 180 passing yards and a touchdown with zero interceptions on 15-of-27 completions.
The Cardinals are 4-0-1 ATS in their last five games against Seattle as the underdogs.
Betting on the Seattle Seahawks (9-6)
The Seahawks are coming off a huge 38-31 home win over the Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday, which highlighted how dangerous Seattle has become of late. Against the Chiefs, quarterback Russell Wilson balled out and racked up 271 passing yards and three touchdowns with zero interceptions on 18-of-29 completions. He and wide receiver Doug Baldwin were on the same page all game long with the latter recording 126 receiving yards and a touchdown on seven catches and 12 targets. Meanwhile, running back Chris Carson exploded for 116 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries. All these playmakers are poised to deal damage against Arizona’s defense that is only 27th in the league with 26.5 points allowed per contest. It also helps to know for bettors that Seattle head coach Pete Carroll had already said that he does not plan to rest players in the regular-season finale.
The Seahawks are 3-0 ATS in their last three home games.
