Starting for the Reds tonight is the struggling Mike Leake (3-4, 4.35 ERA). Cincinnati has lost six of its last seven games with Leake as its starter. Leake allowed three runs on five hits in five innings of work in Cincinnati’s 4-3 loss to the Chicago Cubs on June 13. Leake has a whopping 6.23 ERA at home this season.

The Texas Rangers extended their winning streak to three games with a 5-3 victory against the Los Angeles Dodgers last night. The Rangers will look to continue their dominance of the Dodgers tonight when they square off in the final game of their four-game interleague set. Starting for the Rangers tonight is Colby Lewis (6-3, 4.37 ERA). The Rangers have won two of their last three games with Lewis as their starter. Lewis grabbed his sixth win of the season in his last start, allowing just three runs on four hits in seven innings in Texas’ 11-7 victory against Minnesota on June 13.
The Dodgers, on the other hand, will counter with Zack Greinke (5-2, 1.95 ERA). He was superb in his last start, allowing just two runs on eight hits in eight innings of action, albeit in a 2-1 loss to the San Diego Padres on June 13. He has a solid 2.08 ERA at Dodger Stadium this season.
