[sc:NBA240banner ]There’s no end in sight to the Knicks’ losing woes after they were thrashed 101-91 by the Wizards last night. That’s now 13 consecutive defeats for the storied franchise, the worst losing streak in New York’s history.

Unfortunately for Knicks fans, it won’t get any easier for their beloved team as their team will next face Western Conference powerhouse the Houston Rockets. The Rockets (24-11) are coming off a 105-93 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers which saw six Houston players score in double-figures.

The Rockets are 9-1 in their last 10 meetings with the Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

Writer’s Prediction

The Rockets crush the Knicks, 107-84.

Miami Heat vs. Portland Trail Blazers (10:30 PM ET)

Line: Miami Heat (+8.5) at Portland Trail Blazers (-8.5); total: 197.0 – view all NBA lines

Damian Lillard

The Portland Trail Blazers returned to winning ways Monday with a tough 98-94 win over the Los Angeles Lakers. Damian Lillard was the hero for the Blazers as he scored 39 points including the go-ahead basket with 36 seconds remaining to lift the Blazers to their 10th win in the last 12 games.

The Blazers will fancy their chances of grabbing back-to-back wins tonight as they will next face the Miami Heat. The Heat have struggled as of late, losing four of its last five games. One of the main problems of the Heat this season is their anemic offense. They’re averaging just 94.1 points per game, fourth-worst in the NBA.

The Heat are 4-1 in their last five meetings with the Blazers on the road.

Writer’s Prediction

The Blazers edge past the Heat, 101-95. Create a betting account now and bet on the best games for tonight.
