Line: Oklahoma City Thunder (+3.5) at Golden State Warriors (-3.5); total 218.0 – view these lines
[sc:NBA240banner ]The Golden State Warriors are the most formidable home team in the NBA with a league-best 13-1 record at Oracle Arena. They put their home dominance on display in a 114-109 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on December 18. However, the Thunder were without star small forward Kevin Durant for the second half of that game. Durant had 30 points on 10-of-13 shooting in less than 19 minutes before leaving the game with a sprained ankle.
The last time the Thunder star made it through the whole 48 minutes against Golden State, he scored a career-high 54 points in January 17, 2014.
Writer’s Prediction
Durant explodes for a Thunder-ous (+3.5) win.
Atlanta Hawks vs. Los Angeles Clippers (10:30 PM ET)
Line: Atlanta Hawks (+5.5) at Los Angeles Clippers (-5.5); total 209.5 – view these lines
The Atlanta Hawks keep finding ways to win. They have won 18 of their last 20 games and are on a four-game win streak. During that time, the Hawks have taken down Western Conference powerhouse teams in Dallas, Houston and the Clippers. The Hawks face the Clippers again tonight after taking the first meeting this season 107-104 on December 23. DeMarre Carroll starred in that game with 25 points and 10 rebounds while Al Horford had 20 points.
The Clippers may be more of a challenge this time around. They’ve allowed an average of just 92.4 points over their past five games. DeAndre Jordan was a monster on the boards against Atlanta with 22 rebounds, while Blake Griffin and Chris Paul led the team in scoring 21 and 19 respectively. The Clippers have won three straight home games against the Hawks.
Writer’s Prediction
The Clippers win by a hair. Take the Hawks to cover +5.5. Don’t miss out on the hottest games to bet on each day. Create a betting account now and make some cash from the comforts of your own home.
