[sc:Soccer240banner ]First place in Group C will be up for grabs later tonight as surprise leaders Trinidad and Tobago take on second-place Mexico in a mouth-watering clash at Bank of America Stadium. Trinidad and Tobago will head to this showdown with momentum on its side after grabbing victories in its opening two matches. The Soca Warriors have been impressive on the offensive end, scoring five goals in the tournament thus far.
They will have their work cut out for them tonight, however, as they will face a highly-motivated Mexican side. Mexico is coming off a disappointing scoreless draw against 10-man Guatemala. That performance was a complete surprise considering the El Tri had not failed to score in 32 previous Gold Cup matches. A win by the Mexicans tonight will give them the top spot in Group C.
Mexico is 7-1-2 in its last 10 matches with Trinidad and Tobago.
Writer’s Prediction
Mexico wins, 2-0.
Chicago Fire vs. Columbus Crew (8:30 PM ET)

The Columbus Crew, on the other hand, saw their four-match unbeaten run come to an end, starting their road swing with a 3-0 defeat against the Montréal Impact on Saturday.
The Columbus Crew are 2-1-2 in their last five matches with the Chicago Fire.
