Ottawa Senators vs. New York Rangers (7:30 PM ET)
Line: Ottawa Senators (+160) vs. New York Rangers (-190); total: 5.0 – view all NHL lines
The Rangers need a big win at the Big Apple tonight if they are to extend their season. Down 3-2 on the series after a 5-4 overtime loss in Game 5, the Rangers will look for Henrik Lundqvist to recover his marbles. Lundqvist allowed just a goal in the Rangers’ back-to-back wins prior to Saturday’s loss. As for the Senators, they want to come back to Ottawa playing in the conference finals instead of a Game 7 against New York. They are 3-2 in their last five road games. The Rangers, on the other hand, are 4-0 in their last four at home.
Writer’s Prediction
New York (-190) wins, 3-1.
Houston Rockets vs. San Antonio Spurs (8:00 PM ET)
Line: Houston Rockets (+5.5) vs. San Antonio Spurs (-5.5); total: 215.0 – view all NBA lines
The Rockets and the Spurs contest for a crucial 3-2 series lead tonight in San Antonio. The Rockets are coming off an impressive 125-104 win, drowning the Spurs in 19 threes. The win did come with a price though, as big man Nene Hilario injured his groin and is now declared out for the season. The Spurs, meanwhile, need better defense and production from the pair of Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge, who scored just 16 points each in Game 4.
Writer’s Prediction
San Antonio (-5.5) wins, 110-106.
