The Yankees are back on the winning column after their surging 6-3 win over the Twins Tuesday night, where they scored five runs in the fifth inning. Aaron Judge finally broke out from his slump and had two hits, two runs, and one RBI. Chase Headley and Clint Frazier, who have 12 hits in the past week, will join Judge in headlining the offense.
In trying to counter Judge’s dangerous power and the Yanks’ unpredictable batting, the Twins could be looking at Brian Dozier, among others, for the goods. He’s the team’s most efficient hitter in the last seven days (seven hits, three runs, two homers, and five RBIs).
Jordan Montgomery (6-4, 3.78 ERA) will start for the Bronx Bombers on the mound, and he’ll be going up against the Twins’ rising pitcher, Jose Berrios (8-3, 3.70 ERA).

Seattle Mariners vs. Houston Astros (2:10 PM ET)

It should rain hits, homers, and RBIs. Forget Seattle’s up-and-down season, these two own some of the best hitters in the game – Robinson Cano and Nelson Cruz for the Mariners, and Jose Altuve, Carlos Correa, and George Springer for the Astros.
Two quality pitchers will also be going head-to-head, as Seattle’s James Paxton (8-3, 3.19 ERA) and Houston’s Charlie Morton (7-3, 4.06 ERA) are scheduled to start on the mound.
The American League West-leading Astros, who are up by 16 games to the second-place Mariners, lead their division rivals in the season series, 8-4.
