Best NFL Football Teams to Bet on – Week 10

NFL Week 10 features a host of interesting betting match-ups, including a battle between two of the hottest teams in football.

Here are the top 5 NFL teams to bet on this week:

TEAM TRENDS
Carolina Panthers 11-1 ATS in last 12 games vs SF; 4-0 ATS in last 4 games
Baltimore Ravens 20-3 SU at home; 15-6-1 ATS in last 22 vs Cin
New Orleans Saints 4-0 ATS at home w/ 3 covers of 7+ points
San Diego Chargers 4-1-1 ATS as underdog; 5-2-1 ATS this season
Tennessee Titans 5-2-1 ATS this season vs Jacksonville’s 1-8 ATS

*All odds as of November 5

1. Carolina Panthers (+6.5)

Next Game: at San Francisco 49ers (November 10, 4:05 PM ET)

The San Francisco 49ers are one of the hottest teams in the league, going 5-0 SU and ATS in their last 5 games, so why bet against them? [sc:NFL240banner ]

Because they’re facing the similarly streaking Panthers, who are 4-0 SU and ATS in their last 4 games. Carolina has won those four games by an average of over 18 points per game, and has easily covered 7, 6.5 and 9.5 point lines as favorites in their last three wins.

If anyone can stop the Niners and their NFL-leading rushing attack (153 yards/game), it’s the Panthers’ front seven (79 yards/game, 2nd in NFL).

Also, San Francisco is 1-11 ATS in its last 12 games vs Carolina.

2. Baltimore Ravens (+1.5)

Next Game: vs Cincinnati Bengals (November 10, 1:00 PM ET)

The Ravens have dropped three straight games SU and ATS, but two of those three were on the road. This week they return home where they’re 20-3 in their last 23 games. Baltimore will be home underdogs against a Bengals team that’s just 6-15-1 in its last 22 games vs the Ravens.

The Bengals lost their most recent road test against the Dolphins, who had lost four straight games prior.  They will also be without star tackle Geno Atkins, who tore his ACL and is out for the season.

3. New Orleans Saints (-7)

Next Game: vs Dallas Cowboys (November 10, 8:30 PM ET)

Despite failing to cover against the Vikings last week, the Cowboys still lead the NFL in ATS performance at 7-2. However, they are in danger of dropping two in a row when they meet the Saints in New Orleans.

New Orleans is 4-0 ATS at the Superdome this season and they have covered spreads of 7 and above in three of those games. Moreover, Dallas is 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games vs New Orleans.

4. San Diego Chargers (+7)

Next Game: vs Denver Broncos (November 10, 4:25 PM ET)

The Broncos this season are an impressive 7-1 SU, but are a mediocre 4-4 ATS; three of those non-covers have come in the last four games. Denver is also just 5-9-4 ATS in their last 18 games vs this week’s opponent, San Diego.

In contrast, Philip Rivers and the Chargers are one of the best bets in the league this season at 5-2-1 ATS, including a 4-1-1 mark as an underdog. San Diego has also covered the spread in all three home games so far this year.

5. Tennessee Titans (-11.5)

Next Game: vs Jacksonville Jaguars (November 10, 1:00 PM ET)

These two teams are on opposite sides of the ATS spectrum this season. Tennessee is tied for fourth at 5-2-1 ATS while Jacksonville’s 1-8 ATS record is tied for last; their one and only cover was the famous 26.5-point spread against the Broncos.

The Titans haven’t been favored by this much since they were -8 against the Jaguars in 2011, which they didn’t cover. However, this year’s Jags have already failed to cover massive point spreads of 19 and 16 against the Seahawks and Niners respectively, and 12.5 to the Rams.

It’s now time to put that newly-acquired wealth of NFL knowledge to good use by heading over to Top Bet Sportsbook and placing your bets for this week now.
