The Chicago Bears remain a team without a win after a pair of preseason games. Now that they’ve definitely warmed up, the hope is that Mitchell Trubisky and company will finally get their first victory this Saturday in Mile High City against the Denver Broncos. The Broncos got crushed by Minnesota last week, and are also eager to recover.
The NFL Futures odds have the Bears at +900 to win the NFC North, while the Broncos are +375 to win the AFC West.

Betting on the Chicago Bears (+3)
Two games into the preseason and yet, the Bears are still winless. Chicago will give it another go this Saturday against the Broncos, though, winning isn’t really that paramount for the team as much as seeing the Bears play cohesively on both sides of the ball, especially on offense. Chicago did not have score a passing touchdown in last week’s 30-27 loss to the Bengals on the road, but had two interceptions, care of Tyler Bray and Chase Daniel. Mitchell Trubisky, meanwhile. Only went 2-of-4 four yards in brief time on the field. Chicago’s defense was also thoroughly abused by the Bengals, who unloaded 303 passing yards and 144 more on the ground. The Bears’ stop unit provided a highlight, though, when cornerback Kyle Fuller recorded an interception off of an Andy Dalton heave.
The Bears are 3-2 ATS in their last five gamers in August.
Betting on the Denver Broncos (-3)
Chad Kelly made a good account of himself in Denver’s first game of the preseason, though, it ended in a 42-28 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Kelly completed 14 of 21 passes to go with two touchdowns against an interception. Kelly had a significantly better game than Paxton Lynch, who mustered just 24 yards on six of 11 pass completions. At the moment, Kelly seems to have widened his lead over Lynch in the battle for the No. 2 quarterback behind Case Keenum, but Denver general manager John Elway has implied that the team is keeping its option open in looking for additional backup quarterback help, so if Kelly wants to lock down the job, he’ll have all the motivation in the world to do well against the Bears.
Denver is 3-1-1 ATS in its last five preseason games.
