West Virginia made 57.7 percent from the field against Texas Tech and hit 12 of 19 3-pointers. The three-ball has been a huge weapon for West Virginia of late. The Mountaineers have hit 20 of their 39 3-point attempts over their last two games. West Virginia is capable of winning a shootout, and it has done so against even a tough defensive team like Texas Tech. The Mountaineers are 74th in the nation with 75.4 points per game average and 16th in adjusted offensive efficiency with 114.2 points per 100 possessions.
