The Pelicans have gained some momentum, heading into the game against the Warriors. Zion Williamson and company have won both of their last two games, the last one was a 140-136 overtime victory on the road over the Minnesota Timberwolves this past Saturday. Williamson is routinely tearing apart defenders this season. Against the T’wolves, he had 37 points on 14-of-17 shooting from the field. Williamson is a mismatch problem because of his athleticism and bulk, and it’s fair to assume that he’ll dominate anew against Golden State. On the season, Williamson is putting up 26.8 points on 61.3 percent shooting from the floor. The Pelicans, who are scoring 114.9 points per game — seventh in the league — are also getting great contributions from the likes of Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram.
