Betting on the Kansas City Chiefs (6-2)

Point Spread: (-1)

It was a huge day for the Kansas City Chiefs as they broke their losing streak and ready to take back the AFC West. With a huge performance against rival Denver Broncos, the offense and defense both did their parts to control the game. The defense kicked the Monday night game off with a fumble scoop and score as Marcus Peters ran it back 45 yards for the first score of the game.

With the defense already having the momentum, they continued that trend as they stop the awful Denver offense. Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian would throw three interceptions on the day as the Kansas City defense held him under 200 yards of passing.

As for the offense, quarterback Alex Smith looked in control again as he finished the night with 201 passing yards and a touchdown. Smith connected with his favorite big man target tight end Travis Kelce seven times for a whopping 133 yards and a touchdown.

Betting on the Dallas Cowboys (4-3)

Point Spread: (+1)

The Dallas Cowboys are coming out of the woods as they have won two straight games after their 2-3 start to the season. One of the reasons why Dallas is winning games left and right is due to the performance by super star running back Ezekiel Elliott.

The running back finished with 33 carries as he totaled 150 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Elliot averaged 4.5 yards per carry and had the offense control the tempo of the divisional game. The Offense was on fire as they matched any Washington score as they held their own with a huge statement game in the East.

Besides the offense heating up, the defense also stepped up and took control of the game with forcing four fumbles, an interception and four sacks. The Dallas Cowboys are getting scary and now face their ultimate test yet against another top quality team in the NFL.

Writer’s Prediction:

Whether or not Elliott plays on Sunday, Kansas City has the favorable defense that gives their offense a way better look. Dallas might be hitting the panic button after Week 9.  Pick: Chiefs (-1)
