So the Chiefs lost to the Steelers this passed Sunday in Week 6, ruining their undefeated streak. Does that change things going into Week 7? Not likely, especially with the Oakland Raiders dropping a painful one on the same day to the Los Angeles Chargers. But as the 2017 season has taught us thus far, anything is possible, which makes this game all the more exciting to bet on.

Betting on the Kansas City Chiefs (5-1)
The Chiefs aren’t going to let the Week 6 hiccup against the Steeler’s phase them. In fact, getting that first loss of the season out of the way takes a bit of weight off of the shoulders this deep into 2017. Veteran head coach Andy Reid and an experienced QB Alex Smith are seasoned enough to not let the loss spoil their Super Bowl aspirations and going up against divisional rival Oakland Raiders will give them the renewed focus they need to move forward toward that goal.
Smith will bring his running game while rookie running back Kareem Hunt and tight end Travis Kelce will continue to make big plays. Wide receiver Tyreek Hill’s status (as of Monday October 16) is undetermined as per concussion protocol but is tentatively expected to play (and deliver) this Thursday.
Betting on the Oakland Raiders (2-4)
Unlike the Chiefs, the Raiders are likely to be feeling the bite of their Sunday 17-16 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. They have endured more than a few missteps and injuries this season and the 2-4 record stings after so many experts predicted more from them in 2017. That being said, the team will rally hard at home behind quarterback Derek Carr and we expect them to take an early lead, although they will not likely hold on as the more level-headed and powerful Chiefs take over in the second-half.
