The champions are currently 16th in the table with just one win and two defeats in their first four league games. However, they are still undefeated at home. They drew with Arsenal, and looked much more assured in their 2-1 win over Swansea.
Leicester have been sorely missing midfielder N’Golo Kante, who was a key part of their excellent defense last season. They’ve already given up seven goals in the first four games of this campaign. However, they shouldn’t have too many concerns at the back against a Burnley team which will seldom venture forward.
Leicester struggled breaking down overly cautious defenses last season, as they weren’t allowed to execute their counter-attacking game. But they at least now have a plan B with the arrival of Islam Slimani. The Algerian is a prolific center-forward who can get on the end of crosses and poach goals inside the penalty box. He scored 48 goals in 82 appearances for Sporting Clube de Portugal.

Burnley currently find themselves one spot ahead of Leicester (by goal difference), with one win and two defeats in four games. That one win, though, was their shock 2-0 victory over Liverpool, where the Clarets survived despite giving up a whopping 26 shots and 80 percent of possession.
Expect Burnley to adopt a similar tactic against the champions, who have yet to prove they can consistently break teams down.
Leicester could be a bit leggy after their Champions League excursion in midweek, which should benefit Burnley. Even the top teams have had difficulties performing after European trips, and that could be especially true for a Leicester side which doesn’t have a ton of depth, and will have to deal with this scenario for the very first time.
