Betting on the Los Angeles Chargers (odds)

Regular Season Record: 0-2

The Chargers are still winless in the 2022 NFL preseason. In Week 1, they suffered a 29-22 home loss to the Los Angeles Chargers and absorbed another home loss (32-18) in Week 2 versus the Dallas Cowboys. Even though they lost to the Cowboys, the Chargers outgained Dallas, 296-242, and also had more first-down conversions, 19-14. They just need to clean up on their errors after having two turnovers versus Dallas. Joshua Palmer shined for the Chargers in that game, as he recorded 75 receiving yards and a touchdown on just three receptions.

The Chargers are 5-5 against the spread in their last 10 preseason games.

Betting on the New Orleans Saints (odds)

Regular Season Record: 0-2

The Saints are also still without a win in the 2022 NFL preseason after losing to the Houston Texans on the road in Week 1, 17-13, and to the Green Bay Packers also away from home in Week 2, 20-10. Los Angeles, however, must be happy that it is going to finally play a home game for the team’s preseason finale. Ian Book struggled anew for the Saints under center, going 16/28 for 113 yards with a touchdown and an interception, though he was able to carry the rock seven times for 49 yards. Rookie wideout Chris Olave also had two receptions for 28 yards and a touchdown.

The Under is 7-3 in the Saints’ last 10 games in the preseason, dating back to 2018.
