Betting on the Los Angeles Rams (9-4)
This one is going to be tough to swallow as the Los Angeles Rams fell to the Philadelphia Eagles 43-35. The Eagles would score a touchdown on the last play of the game, so in hindsight this game was close all the way until the end.
The teams would go back and forth in this one but quarterback Carson Wentz showed more strength in the pocket to deliver his team the victory. Quarterback Jared Goff might of been outshined by the 2nd overall pick, but he had a good day.
Goff would finish the day with 200 yards passing with two touchdowns on the play. The only mistake that might be under Goff was that he stayed in the pocket too league and former Ram Chris Long stripped the ball away to set up the game winning field goal.
As for the hopeful MVP of the league, Todd Gurley shined in the loss. Gurley had 13 carries on the ground for 96 yards along with two touchdowns. He also had three receptions on the day for 39 yards. Big day for number 30.
Betting on the Seattle Seahawks (8-5)
When quarterback Russell Wilson starts to make mistakes in the game, it is going to take a lot for the Seahawks to win as Wilson is their only weapon to score points right now. In the 30-24 loss to the Jags, Wilson would turn the ball over three times as the Jags bounced on the opportunities.
Quarterback Wilson finished the night with 271 passing yards, with three touchdowns and three interceptions. It was ugly as the Seahawks almost pulled off the win even with their main star playing poorly.
As for the defense, they need to step up in the game against Los Angeles as they were smacked around by the Jaguars defense. They lost to an average quarterback and that speaks volume of how much this defense is in trouble against the Rams. Seattle needs to find new ways to score or else this Los Angeles Rams team is going to walk all over them come Sunday.
