The Saints aim to thicken the cushion between themselves and the Panthers in the NFC South with a win in Seattle. However, that won’t come easy for New Orleans, as the Seahawks have been indestructible at home for over a year.

Betting on the New Orleans Saints:
New Orleans is doing an excellent good job of keeping Cam Newton and the surging Panthers off the bay. Despite seven straight wins by Carolina, the Saints never lost grip of the NFC South’s top spot, primarily because of their offense. [sc:NFL240banner ]
Drew Brees is second to NFL leader Peyton Manning in yards per game with 332. In the Saints’ 17-13 win against Atlanta last week, Brees threw just 278 yards and two touchdowns but did most of the damage in the first half as the team’s defense took care of business the rest of the way, not allowing the Falcons to score in the second half.
With Brees facilitating the offense, the Saints passing game is high up there in the rankings, placing second in the NFL with 317.3 per game. As good as they are on offense, the Saints are also just as good defensively, especially against the pass. New Orleans allows just 198.0 passing yards each game – third in the NFL.
The Saints are 8-2 SU in their last 10 games overall.

Betting on the Seattle Seahawks:
The Seahawks’ lone loss so far this season against Indianapolis seems like a distant memory. Or at least that’s what six straight wins can do – make people forget.
Since that setback, Seattle has won three times each at home and on the road. And the Seahawks are doing it mostly with success on the ground. The team is third in the NFL in rushing yards, running the ball 147.9 yards per game. Marshawn Lynch has 925 rushing yards, good for second in the league. Dual threat QB Russell Wilson is second to Lynch on the team with 409.
The Seahawks offense just got better with the return of wide receiver Percy Harvin. Harvin made an appearance last game against the Vikings, in which Seattle showed that they could also produce wins using their passing game. Wilson had 230 yards and two TDs in the Seahawks 41-20 walloping of Minnesota. But of course, the strong ground game is still there as Lynch found the end zone twice as well.
The Seahawks haven’t lost at home in more than a year already. They are 13-0 SU in their last 13 home games.
