Giolito, however, allowed four earned runs on six hits in 5.0 innings in a 9-6 road win over the New York Yankees back in April.

Lopez went 6.0 innings deep in his last start and surrendered just an earned run on four hits while striking out 11 in a 5-2 road win over the Royals on Jun. 9.

He will look to do better against the White Sox, who also rocked him last April during a 5-2 home loss in which he yielded five earned runs on seven hits in just 4.0 innings. Despaigne is a new addition to the White Sox’s rotation. The 32-year-old Cuban has a 13-24 record in 106 total game appearances with 4.94 ERA and 1.41 WHIP.
