Mark Sanchez had a big game as the Philadelphia Eagles blew out the hapless Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football. Will the Eagles’ dominant defensive display have any bearing ahead of their matchup with red-hot Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers? Likewise, will bettors pay heed to the Panthers’ back-to-back ATS losses? Let’s find out with the review of the week’s line movement.
As always, a game’s line may move for a variety reasons, most often because of heavy betting activity on one team or a significant injury to a key player. Do bear in mind, though, that these are only educated analyses and may not be the actual reason for a particular line shift. With all of that cleared up, let’s get to the updated Week 11 lines, which you can bet on today if you create a betting account right now.

[sc:Football ]NFL Line Movement for Week 11
Seattle Seahawks (+2) vs. Kansas City Chiefs (-2)
Line moved from PICK – view all NFL lines
It’s no wonder the public are backing the Kansas City Chiefs ahead of their Week 11 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, enough to move them two full points to become the favorites. The Chiefs are one of the hottest teams in the past seven weeks, winning six of their last seven games and four in a row. They have the best pass defense in the league (205.3 yards allowed per game), which should limit the arm of Seattle’s Russel Wilson, who hasn’t thrown the ball well.
[sc:NFL240banner ]On offense, the Chiefs’ dynamic running back Jamaal Charles, who has scored five touchdowns in the past four weeks, takes on his biggest challenge to date in the Seahawks’ top-notch rushing defense (79.8 yards allowed per game, fourth in the league).
However, these are the Seahawks we’re talking about. The defending Super Bowl champions cannot be counted out on any given day. While Wilson hasn’t thrown the ball well, he has run roughshod against opposing defenses with three 100-yard rushing games this season. Meanwhile, Marshawn Lynch has transformed back into Beast Mode with 140 yards and four touchdowns in the Seahawks’ 38-17 dismantling of the Giants in Week 10.
Atlanta Falcons (-1) vs. Carolina Panthers (+1)
Line moved from -1.5 Panthers – view all NFL lines
The whole country was watching as backup quarterback Mark Sanchez and the rest of the Philadelphia Eagles annihilated the Panthers 45-21, throwing for 332 yards and two touchdowns on Monday Night Football. The public responded to the drubbing, the Panthers’ fourth loss in a row, by emphatically backing Atlanta enough to move the line 2.5 points, making the Falcons favorites.
The public probably thinks the Panthers and their struggling defense won’t have it any easier when they take on Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, who ranks fifth in the league with 2,525 passing yards, while throwing 16 touchdowns this season.
Don’t sleep on the home team though. The Panthers will have a hole to exploit when they take on Atlanta’s leaky defense. The Falcons have allowed a league-high 280.8 passing yards per game and have given up the most rushing touchdowns (13) in the league this season, which should open up Cam Newton’s dynamic running game.
Philadelphia Eagles (+6) vs. Green Bay Packers (-6)
Line moved from -5 Packers – view all NFL lines
The public witnessed Aaron Rodgers’ dominance on Sunday Night Football as he threw six touchdowns in the first half of the Packers’ Week 10 demolition of the Chicago Bears. They have since pounced on the Packers’ line to move a full point ahead of Green Bay’s Week 11 showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Packers have been simply amazing at home, averaging 45 points with a 31-point margin of victory in their last three games at Lambeau.
Still, you can’t ignore the Eagles’ impressive pass defense over the past two games, allowing less than 400 yards with four interceptions to boot. Philadelphia’s pass rush has also proven to be deadly with 13 sacks in the two games, nine coming against the Panthers alone on Monday.
