The Miami Hurricanes boast the longest winning streak in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) with a total of 13 games without a single loss. This includes going 9-4 against the spread (ATS). So you’d think they’d be favored going into this Saturday’s game. Why aren’t they? Well, for one, the last team to beat Miami was none other than their Week 11 opponent – the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Will the Fighting Irish claim another victory or will Miami extend their impressive streak, at home? Register to bet and wager with your pick.

Betting on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish 8-1 (-3.5)
This matchup brings up the rivalry of the 80’s between these two schools, when both were powerhouses in the world of college football. Brian Kelly has completely turned the program around after a 3-9 record last year, and this may be his most talented team since arriving to South Bend.
Brandon Winbush is a very good dual threat QB, but his ability to throw the ball down the field may be tested this week. He is completing just under 52% of his passes and will need to be much more accurate and consistent to lead the Fighting Irish to the victory.
Winbush is averaging over 80 yards rushing in the last 3 games and has 5 touchdowns on the ground during that span. He has scored at least 1 rushing touchdown every game this season and I expect him to continue that streak. After 4 straight 100+ yard rushing performances, Josh Allen was shut down by the Demon Deacons front seven. He carried the ball 5 times for 22 yards and will need to get the ball early to get into a rhythm.
Allen is averaging nearly 9 yards per carry and he should put up a 100 yard performance and find the end zone twice in this one.
Betting on the Miami Hurricanes 8-0 (+3.5)
Malik Rosier had the worst game of his season in the big win over Va. Tech. He was 11-22 for 202 yards with 2 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. Rosier will need to limit the turnovers against the fighting Irish and I expect him to be closer to his season average of 280 yards passing this week.
Sophomore running back Travis Homer had a good game against the Hokies defense, as he ran the ball 14 times for 95 yards and a score. He should get at least 15 touches in this game and I expect him to get over 100 total yards against the Fighting Irish.
Braxton Berrios has a been a deep threat this season and found a few holes in the Va Tech secondary last week. He hauled in 4 passes for 59 yards and a score. Look for him to find the end zone for the second straight week. The Hurricanes defense has 20 turnovers in 8 games and may be able to capitalize on poor mistakes by Winbush. This may be an opportunity for the Hurricanes to get a short field and pull off the upset.
Writer’s Prediction
I expect this to come down to the final few minutes, with Notre Dame getting the victory late. The Fighting irish rushing attack will do enough to get the victory. Pick: Notre Dame (-3)
