Karol Rosa was supposed to fight Macy Chiasson, but the latter had to withdraw due to a medical issue. Stepping in for Chiasson is Sijara Eubanks, who is happy to try to take advantage of this opportunity to build on her resume in the women’s bantamweight division. Ranked No. 15 in the women’s bantamweight division, Eubanks is looking to go back-to-back after winning his last fight, a unanimous decision win over Sara Moras last May, to snap a two-fight losing skid. Eubanks was part of The Ultimate Fighter 26, and in her first two fights in the UFC, she defeated Lauren Murphy and Roxanne Modafferi — both via unanimous decisions. All of Eubanks’ last seven fights have gone the distance, with her emerging as the winner in four of those bouts. He has two wins via KO, though, as she scored a TKO win in her MMA debut back in 2015 against Gina Begley and in 2016 against Amberlynn Orr. Eubanks’ win against Moras was “SarJ’s” first win in as a bantamweight. So far in her UFC career, Eubanks is averaging 4.95 strikes landed per minute. She’s got some decent striking defense, as she is allowing just 3.32 significant strikes per minute.

MMA Record: 13-3-0
Rosa is undefeated in four fights, as she extended her winning streak with a win over Vanessa Melo last July, via unanimous decision. Prior to that, she scored a split decision win against Lara Procopio, a TKO victory over Gisele Moreira, and a submission win at the expense of Tamires Vidal. Rosa’s range of manners of victories is much more diverse than Eubanks’. Rosa has four wins via TKO and a 2-2 slate via submissions. Her submission win over Vidal was through an arm triangle execution. Her other submission victory was via armbar in a 2017 match against Diana Moraes. In her win against Melo, Rosa put up a dominant performance that had her out-striking Melo by nearly 100 strikes (177-78). Rosa was also able to take down Melo twice while not allowing herself to be brought to the ground.
