Regular Season Record: 10-4

The Buccaneers lost to the New Orleans Saints in Week 15 at home, 9-0. That’s a real score of an actual game involving the defending Super Bowl champions. Tampa Bay was simply baffled by the Saints’ defense. The Bucs also saw key players get hurt, with running back Leonard Fournette and wide receiver Mike Evans and Chris Godwin all unable to finish the game due to injuries. The statuses of their key players should be closely monitored heading to Week 16.

Regular Season Record: 5-9

The losing continues for Cam Newton and the Panthers, as they have gone 0-4 in their last four games. The last one was a 31-14 beating at the hands of the Buffalo Bills on the road in Week 15. Newton went 18/38 for 156 passing yards and a touchdown with an interception. He’s clearly no longer the league MVP that he used to but he’s still got wheels. He led the Panthers against the Bills with 71 rushing yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. Newton is now less dynamic, but his ability to run the ball can still give opposing defenses problems. Overall, the Panthers rushed for 151 yards on 29 carries against Buffalo.
