Gary Bettman, commissioner of the National Hockey League, must be good buddies with Adam Silver because soon after pro basketball’s head cheese caved to COVID fear and suspended the NBA season the NHL quickly followed suit. This is despite the fact that their players have no skin to skin contact, assuming they can stop throwing off their gloves to fight. Perhaps it’s time to better enforce the rules on the latter?
