Week 13 of the 2016 NFL season kicks off with a better-than-usual matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the Minnesota Vikings. The Cowboys are on a rage right now but don’t count out the Vikes’ chances of tripping Dak Prescott and company up. More about that game and a couple of other sleeper picks below.

NFL Week 13 Sleepers Predictions
Dallas Cowboys (-3.5) at Minnesota Vikings (+3.5) (Thu, Dec. 1, 8:25 PM ET)
At this point, Dallas detractors, whether they admit it or not, are probably tired of slinging mud at the Cowboys. Jerry Jones’ crew has won 10-straight games behind the rookie pair of Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott.
It’s so easy to ride Dallas’ bandwagon right now, but don’t overlook the possibility of the team being complacent and the Vikings’ obvious desperation. Those two intangible qualities could matter more than the tangible ones this Thursday, when the Vikings look to fight tooth and nail for a chance to stay in contention in the NFC North.
Writer’s Prediction: Minnesota (+3.5) wins, 22-20
Philadelphia Eagles (-1) Cincinnati Bengals (+1) (Dec. 4, 1:00 PM ET)
The Bengals’ streak of consecutive playoff appearance is likely going to end this season. Cincy has dropped all of its last three contests and with A.J. Green out of the picture with a hamstring injury, Andy Dalton and crew may have to find something else to do aside from playing football once the postseason rolls in.
The good news for the Bengals, however, at least this Sunday, is that the Eagles aren’t doing better either. Philly has lost six of its last eight games and has seen rookie quarterback Carson Wentz’s play decline during that stretch. Wentz has thrown seven interceptions and just four touchdowns in the Eagles’ past six games.
Writer’s Prediction: Cincinnati wins, 24-21.
San Francisco 49ers (+1.5) Chicago Bears (-1.5) (Dec. 4, 1:00 PM ET)
There are more exciting things to do this Sunday than watch these two teams try to out-stink each other, but sometimes pitting the bad opposite the bad makes for an unexpected spectacle. The Niners are coming in as the slight underdogs here and are on a 10-game losing skid, but Colin Kaepernick has been playing quite like vintage Colin Kaepernick of late, which could spell trouble for Chicago.
Kaepernick has passed for six touchdowns against just one interception over the last three games. That stretch includes his performance in last week’s 31-24 loss to Miami in which he passed for 296 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for 113 yards. Like we said, vintage Kaep seems to be back.
Writer’s Prediction: San Francisco wins, 25-23.
