Let’s bathe ourselves in another dose of GIFs. From DeMarcus Cousins’ refusal to be a friendly person to that otherworldly game that made every college football fan go bananas, we have here some of the best moments the sporting world has had to offer over the past week.
Here are the best sports highlights and Gifs of the week:
DeMarcus Cousins Does Not Like the Clippers
Sacramento Kings’ resident head case DeMarcus Cousins is at it again, denying the Clippers a chance to say “good game” to him. We don’t know what sparked Cousins to go cold turkey on being a good-natured human being after the game (other than the obvious fact that they lost), but we do know this isn’t the first time he’s waged war against cozy post-game gestures.
Jason Kidd Spill
Kidd may no longer be a player, but that doesn’t hinder him from shelling out some of those old tricks.
With the Nets down by two and the Lakers’ Jodie Meeks taking his second free throw with 8.3 seconds to go, Kidd appeared to instruct Tyshawn Taylor to bump him while holding a cup of soda to cause a spill and force the officials to call a timeout – something Brooklyn needed. The cameras caught Kidd mumbling out “hit me” to Taylor, which might have been the same words uttered by the telephone booth to Kidd’s car during the offseason.
The plan did not end well. Brooklyn lost the game and Kidd was asked to pay $50,000 for his not so Hall-of-Fame strategy.
Mike Tomlin Gets Out of the Way (Sort of)
Giving Jason Kidd a run for his money for the bush league coaching act of the week award is Pittsburgh Steelers head coach, Mike Tomlin. Playing against bitter rivals, Baltimore, on Thanksgiving Day, Ravens’ WR Jacoby was on his way to scoring a kick return but was slowed down by Tomlin, who, whether intentional or not, impeded his path. Tomlin brushed himself out of the way just in time, but still, his action caused Jones to get tackled by Cortez Allen.

Scott Tolzien Spins to Gif Stardom
Tolzien made the most of his 15 minutes of fame in the quarterback carousel show of the Green Bay Packers by scoring this beautiful touchdown. That spin move was a thing of magic, but the cherry on top was his dive to reach the end zone.
Russell Westbrooks’ Game Winner
Remember when Golden State won at home against the Thunder thanks to Andre Iguodala’s buzzer-beating jumper? The tables were turned as Russell Westbrook returned the favor by burying a game-winning shot right on the mug of Harrison Barnes with only a tenth of a second remaining.

Auburn Never Runs Out of Miracles
The axe has been dropped on the glass tabletop that is the BCS, as Alabama was seemingly a lock for a spot the national championship — until Auburn pulled off a shocker for the ages, beating No.1 Crimson Tide in the Iron Bowl, 34-28. It’s one thing to take down Alabama, but to win it in such a manner – a missed field goal returned for a touchdown – pushes this win to legendary status. Here’s Auburn’s Chris Davis running all the way for the game winning touchdown after the jump.
