Running back Ezekiel Elliott will be back and running strong for the Cowboys when they visit the 49ers on Sunday in Week 7, helping make Dallas solid road favorites against the 49ers. Although, you’ve gotta’ think that San Francisco will break out of the winless funk sooner or later. Will this be the week?

Betting on the Dallas Cowboys (2-3)
Coming out of the Bye week, the Dallas Cowboys are ready to get back to work as they need a victory against the San Francisco 49ers to stay in the divisional and playoff race. Even though it is already Week 7, these games are extremely important. Running back Ezekiel Elliott will be playing this week which is much needed.
On Tuesday night, Elliot was granted a new temporary restraining order by a New York Judge who has been very favorable in the case of Elliot. This will give him time to play at least this and next weeks against against WAshington until the next hearing on Oct 30.
One of the reasons why Elliot plays a huge part in the offense is due to his 393 yards and two touchdowns through his first five games of the season. He needs to get heavy doses on the ground in order to return to his rookie season form where he totaled 1,631 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns.
Betting on the San Francisco 49ers (0-5)
The San Francisco 49ers once again have come close to their first victory of the season, but could not close it out in Washington. In all of the 49ers six losses this season, their worst loss came with being beaten by three points. San Francisco has continued to showcase their passion on the field as they have yet to be beaten badly.
One of the reasons why San Francisco has yet to recover a victory is due from their quarterback situation. Brian Hoyer started the season, yet was benched halfway through the game against Washington as C.J. Beathard took over.
The rookie quarterback out of Iowa, selected in the 3rd round of the 2017 NFL draft changed the momentum of the game and almost pulled off the comeback.
Beathard finished the day with 245 passing yards, one touchdown, but a costly interception as he had one last drive to win it all. With this quarterback change, can it spark the offense?
Writer’s Prediction:
The San Francisco 49ers have been extremely close in every single game, and I predict the 49ers will cause the Cowboys some problems. Might even pull off the upset victory. Pick: 49ers (+6)
