The Miami Dolphins eked out a huge win in Week 4, as they took down Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills at home Sunday, 21-19. That win only further vindicates the Dolphins as a legitimate Super Bowl contender. The Cincinnati Bengals, meanwhile, finally scored their first win of the season by taking care of business over the weekend in a 27-12 road win over the New York Jets. Will the Dolphins sustain their undefeated record with another win against Cincy? Or will the Bengals be the ones to stop Miami?

Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa seemed to have been injured against the Bills, though, he was still able to finish the game, Either way, his status will have to be monitored closely, especially since the Dolphins are playing on a short week. If he can’t go Thursday, the Dolphins will likely have Teddy Bridgewater under center. In any case, the Fins have a loaded receiving corps featuring the 1-2 punch of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle to put tremendous pressure on Cincinnati’s defense. Speaking of which, the Bengals had four sacks in Week 4, which is a good sign for their pass rush heading into the game against Cincinnati which hasn’t been doing a terrific job at pass protection.
The Dolphins are 4-0 against the spread in their last four games overall.
Betting on the Cincinnati Bengals (-3)
Regular Season Record: 1-2
Now that they have finally scored a win, the monkey is off the back of Joe Burrow and the Bengals. Burrow passed for 275 yards and three touchdowns with zero interceptions on 23/36 completions against the Jets. One thing to worry about the Bengals after that victory is the status of running back Joe Mixon, who left the Jets game in the fourth quarter with an apparent injury. With only a few days of rest in between their win over the Jets and the upcoming showdown with the Bengals, it appears that there’s a chance he could sit out Week 4. That could mean that the Bengals will have Samaje Perine will have a shot at taking over as the team’s RB1 next game. Nevertheless, Cincinnati has the weapons it needs downfield to make up for a potential Mixon absence, with Tyler Boyd, Tee Higgins, and Ja’Marr Chase stretching the field for each other.
The Bengals are 8-2 against the spread in their last 10 games overall.
Writer’s Prediction
