[sc:NFL240banner ]The Bills finally showed some life after losing back-to-back games to Cincinnati and Jacksonville, as they bludgeoned Miami for the second time this season, 33-17.  Up ahead for Rex Ryan and his men is a tough matchup with fellow AFC East rival, the New York Jets.

The Bills’ Sammy Watkins and their backfield will be tested by a tough New York defense that ranks fourth overall in the NFL with only 323.2 total yards allowed. The Jets, meanwhile, won’t have it easy too on offense, particularly on the ground, as Buffalo present the sixth-best defense against the run. The Bills are allowing just 93.6 rushing yards per game this season. Buffalo is 3-1 ATS in its last four road games. The Jets are 5-2 ATS in their last seven at home.

Writer’s Prediction

New York wins, 21-17.

Two of the highest-scoring teams in the NBA meet later tonight in Phoenix, as the Clippers pay the Suns a visit in the desert. LA has been having tons of success against the Suns since 2013, as the Clips are 9-1 SU in the last 10 meetings. That said, the Suns have the tools to beat LA.

For one, they have edge in rebounding with Phoenix averaging 48.1 boards per game, fifth overall in the league. Moreover, Phoenix, which plays the first of its four-game homestand, is averaging 103.8 PPG on 44.3 FG% shooting in Arizona this season. The Suns are 2-1 SU and ATS in their last three home games.

Writer’s Prediction

Phoenix wins, 102-100.
