Playing with a sense of urgency, the Blackhawks ended their three-game losing skid with a 7-2 annihilation of Toronto on Monday. Seven different players scored for Chicago, which is eighth in the league with 2.75 goals for per contest.
Patrick Kane and company now look to avenge their early season 3-2 defeat to the Rangers way back in October, as they make their way into Madison Square Garden later tonight. The Blackhawks are 3-0 in their last three road assignments.
The Rangers, meanwhile, are playing well of late, winning five in six games, including their 3-1 beatdown of Philadelphia on Sunday. The Rangers are riding the hot goaltending of Henrik Lundqvist, who is 5-1 with a 1.5 GAA and .942 SV% in six games thus far this month.
Writer’s Prediction
New York wins, 2-1.

Line: Duke Blue Devils vs. North Carolina Tar Heels – view all NCAAB lines
Archrivals Duke and North Carolina square off later tonight in Chapel Hill, where both teams will look to extend their respective win streaks. Duke is fresh off mounting a Houdini act, closely beating Virginia on Saturday, 63-62. The Blue Devils, however, will face a less stringent defense in North Carolina, which allows 70.2 points per game.
That said, Duke isn’t a great defensive team either, as it lets 70.9 PPG. This game is likely going to be a high scoring one with both squads ranking in the top 13 in the nation in points. Duke is 6-4 ATS in its last 10 road games, while North Carolina is 10-0 SU in its last 10 as the home team.
Writer’s Prediction
