The 2016-2017 Chicago Bulls wouldn’t beat the 1995-1996 Chicago Bulls if they continue to play like they have over the past few games. But can they beat the Boston Celtics when they make an appearance at TD Garden later today? Another pressing question: who’s going to have a better performance in tonight’s tussle between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Houston Rockets, LeBron James or James Harden?

Chicago Bulls vs. Boston Celtics (3:30 PM ET)
Line: Chicago Bulls (+7.5) vs. Boston Celtics (-7.5); total: 208.5 – view all NBA lines
Chicago suck right now—on a four-game skid after a 115-94 loss to Houston on Friday— and the Bulls are seemingly aware of how much they stench. A win tonight in Boston, however, would go a long way in restoring confidence in Windy City. Chicago is 2-1 SU and ATS in three meetings with the Celtics this season, which includes a close 104-103 over Boston on Feb. 16. The Celtics, meanwhile, are simply looking to get back up following a 119-99 loss in Denver on Friday. They are 3-0 SU and ATS in their last three at home versus Chicago.
Writer’s Prediction
Boston (-7.5) wins and covers.
Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Houston Rockets (9:00 PM ET)
Line: Cleveland Cavaliers (+5) vs. Houston Rockets (-5); total: 231.0 – view all NBA lines
LeBron James and the Cavs pay Houston a visit later tonight, seeking to duplicate their 128-120 win over the Rockets back in Nov. 1. James nearly had a triple double in that meeting, stuffing the stat sheet with 19 point, 13 rebounds, and eight assists, while Kyrie Irving led Cleveland with 32 points. James Harden was unstoppable in the said contest, as the bearded MVP candidate dropped 41 points on 13-for-20 from the field. Cleveland is 2-1 SU in its last three outings opposite the Rockets. Houston is 9-1 ATS in its last 10 home games versus the Cavs.
Writer’s Prediction
Cleveland wins but Houston (-5) covers.
