Anyone who says that he doesn’t want to see Russell Westbrook and James Harden go head to head is either lying or simply isn’t fond of fun things. The two go at it later tonight in Houston in what should be a highly entertaining match. The Los Angeles Lakers and the Portland Trail Blazers, meanwhile, lack the star power of the aforementioned contest but hey, that’s still the Lakers. See a brief preview of each game below.

Constant triple-double threats Russell Westbrook and James Harden are going to share the floor later tonight, as the Thunder and the Rockets square off in Toyota Center. How about that? Westbrook is averaging 30.9 PPG, 10.4 RPG, and 10.5 APG, while Harden isn’t too shabby with a stat line of 28.4 PPG, 8.2 RPG, and 11.9 APG. This is the third meeting between the two squads. OKC won the first one (105-103), while Houston took the second (102-99). OKC is 6-4 ATS in its last 10 games. Houston is 3-1 ATS in its last four at home.
Writer’s Prediction
Houston (-8.5) wins, 119-110.
Los Angeles Lakers vs. Portland Trail Blazers (10:30 PM ET)
Line: Los Angeles Lakers (TBA) vs. Portland Trail Blazers (TBA)– view all NBA lines
After upsetting Memphis in a 116-102 victory on Wednesday to stop a three-game skid, the Lakers travel to Portland later tonight looking to go back-to-back. The Lakers are 3-2 ATS in their last five road games. Portland, meanwhile, fell short in their quest to subdue Golden State on Wednesday, losing to the Warriors, 125-117. Portland could bounce right back tonight, when it hosts the Lakers. The Blazers are 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games.
Writer’s Prediction
Los Angeles wins 105-102.
