After a win over the Butler Bulldogs that snapped UConn’s three-game losing skid, the Huskies are back losing again, falling prey to the Xavier Musketeers at home last Wednesday, 82-79. The Huskies are still able to score a lot, as they’re 21st in the nation with 79.3 points per game. They are also shooting 35.3 percent from behind the arc. Their offense of late has actually shown the life UConn missed from it during that aforementioned losing skid, with the Huskies scoring at least 79 points in each of their last two outings.

The Blue Demons are hoping to see their way out of a hellish three-game losing skid this Tuesday. After a 73-72 home win against the Musketeers on Jan. 18, DePaul has gone winless in three games. The last time they were on the court, the Blue Demons got torched in an 89-69 home loss to the Marquette Golden Eagles last Saturday. As bad as it’s been this season for DePaul, the Blue Demons should feel good about their chances to score a win against a problematic Huskies squad that has simply struggled to get back to its early-season form.
DePaul, which is averaging 71.5 points per game, is 4-4-2 against the spread in its last 10 outings overall.
