Creighton is on a roll, as the Bluejays have won in each of their last six games to establish the longest active win streak in the Big East. In their most recent outing, the Bluejays outlasted the Villanova Wildcats at home, 66-61 over the weekend. Creighton is not an elite offensive team but it is still among the top 50 in the league in scoring with 76.8 points per game, The Bluejays like to establish control early, as it is 18th nationally with 38.3 points average in the first half. They pounded Seton Hall for 43 first-half points in Creighton’s 83-61 win against the Pirates at home on Jan. 3.
Creighton, which also is No. 1 in Big East play with 95.0 points allowed per 100 possessions adjusted, is 3-2 against the spread in its last five games.

Record: 15-9 Overall/8-5 Conference
Seton Hall isn’t doing very badly either. The Pirates have won all of their last three games, including their 69-64 triumph over the weekend against the DePaul Demon Deacons. Moreover, Seton Hall has gone 7-1 straight-up in its last eight outings, a stretch that also features the Pirates’ 67-66 home win against the UConn Huskies on Jan. 18. Seton Hall is hoping its defense will click better this time around against Creighton. The Pirates are second in the Big East in adjusted defensive efficiency (97.7) and 14th in that aspect in the nation. Also, they are top 40 nationally with just 64.5 points allowed per outing.
Seton Hall is 6-3-1 against the spread in its last 10 contests.
