Are the Dallas Cowboys on their way to their first back-to-back wins of the season? They are +6,000 to win Super Bowl 53, but that price could shrink if they start giving their fans and bettors more reason to get excited. That excitement is what the Redskins would like to extinguish when they get visited by Cowboys this Sunday. Like the Cowboys, the Redskins are +6,000 to take home the Vince Lombardi Trophy this season.

Betting on the Dallas Cowboys (3-3)
The Cowboys’ offense suddenly came alive in Week 6 against, of all teams, the Jacksonville Jaguars in a 40-7 win at home. Quarterback Dak Prescott only had 183 passing yards, but connected for two touchdowns and didn’t commit any turnovers. Plus, he rushed for 82 rushing yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. As a team, the Cowboys collected 206 rushing yards against Washington, though, they will have to diversify their attack this coming Sunday, as Washington is sixth in the league against the run. In any case, running back Ezekiel will be a handful for Washington. The former first-round pick has 586 rushing yards this season to go with three touchdowns on 117 carries.
Dallas is second in the NFL with 147.5 rushing yards per game, thanks in large part to Elliott and a 47.51 rushing play percentage – also second in the league.
The under is 5-0 in the Cowboys’ last five road games.
Betting on the Washington Redskins (3-2)
The Redskins rebounded from an embarrassing setback in Week 5 in New Orleans by thumping the Carolina Panthers last Sunday at home to the tune of a 23-17 score. Quarterback Alex Smith completed 21 of his 36 pass attempts for 163 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while veteran running back Adrian Peterson took off for 97 rushing yards on 17 carries. It’s going to require a lot for the Redskins to crack the Cowboys’ top five scoring defense, but their just passed the test of Carolina’s top 10 stop unit. The Redskins’ defense, however, is likely going to be the bigger key to success against Dallas. Cornerback Josh Norman intercepted Panthers quarterback Cam Newton last week and he’s going to be a threat to Prescott this time around. Prescott has seven passing touchdowns but has four interceptions on the season.
The Redskins are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games.
Writer’s Prediction
Dallas wins, 26-21.
