The Denver Broncos are having a rough go at it in the preseason, as they have yet to notch a win. They are gradually playing better, though, so hopefully for them, a win will come their way this coming Friday against the banged-up Washington Redskins.
In the NFL Futures, the Broncos are +375 to win the AFC West, while the Redskins have a price of +900 to come out on top of the NFC East at the end of the regular season.

Betting on the Denver Broncos (0-2 Preseason Record)
The Broncos failed to get their first win of the preseason again, as they lost to the Chicago Bears at home on Saturday, 24-23. However, they played much better in that game than in their preseason opener in which they took a 42-28 loss at the hands of Minnesota at home. The Broncos will take the road for the first time in the preseason when they meet Washington, and it could be expected that Case Keenum and some other starters will see longer minutes and more snaps on the field. Keenum passed for 78 yards on 8-of-13 completions againt the Bears. Backup Chad Kelly, meanwhile, continued to widen the gap between him and Paxton Lynch in the battle for the No.2 QB role, as he passed 90 yards on 9-of-10 completions to go with a touchdown. Denver’s pass protection has to get better, though, after allowing Chicago to record four sacks.

Betting on the Washington Redskins (1-1 Preseason Record)
The Redskins’ backfield just can’t seem to get away from the injury bug. A week after learning rookie running back Derrius Guice will be out for the season due to an ACL tear, another Washington tailback got hurt, with Samaje Perine sustaining an apparent hamstring injury during last week’s 15-13 win at home over the New York Jets. While it doesn’t seem serious, the injury could force the Redskins to be careful with Perine and sit him out for the Denver game. Running back Byron Marshall also suffered an ankle injury that reportedly will keep him out for up to four weeks. Expect a heavy dosage of Rob Kelley and Kappri Bibbs in the backfield, while the passing game will have a heavier responsibility on their shoulders. Colt McCoy led the Redskins in the Jets game with 140 passing yards on 12-of-16 pass completions, but wasn’t able to score a touchdown, while also giving up an interception. Alex Smith may see more playing time, though. He went 4 of 6 with 48 yards against the Jets,
