The Dallas Cowboys (+5000 to win Super Bowl 54) are still on top of the NFC East division, but they are hanging their by a thread, with the Philadelphia Eagles (+6600) sharing an identical record with them. Thanks to Dallas’ previous win over the Eagles in Week 7, the Cowboys remain no. 1 in the division. As for the Los Angeles Rams, they are heating up and are making a last push for at least a wildcard berth in the NFC.

Betting on the Los Angeles Rams (8-5)
The Rams are still kicking and are very much alive in the playoff race. They have gone 3-1 straight up (SU) in their last four games, a stretch that includes their 28-12 home win over the Seattle Seahawks last Sunday. The Rams weathered another shaky performance by Jared Goff, who went 22 for 31 for 293 passing yards for two touchdowns against two interceptions. Tight end Tyler Higbee paced the Rams with 116 receiving yards on seven catches while running back Todd Gurley had 79 rushing yards and a touchdown on 23 carries. The Rams are sixth in the NFL with 276.8 passing yards per game, and their air attack could be lethal to the Cowboys’ problematic pass defense that had just been exposed by Mitchell Trubisky and the Chicago Bears. The Cowboys’ defense is also just one of the two stop units in the league entering Week 15 with no more than five interceptions.
The Rams are 8-2 against the spread (ATS) in their last 10 games away from home.
Betting on the Dallas Cowboys (6-7)
Jason Garrett is still employed by the Cowboys, he’s definitely feeling his seat getting hotter after the Cowboys have lost all of their last three games. The latest was a 31-24 setback at Soldier Field against the Bears, who treated Dallas’ defense like a broken turnstile, as Trubisky had 231 passing yards and three touchdowns in the game. The Cowboys need to be better upfront defensively to slow down Goff and compensate for their secondary’s shortcomings. On the season, the Cowboys have 34.0 sacks and a 14th-ranked 7.17 defensive sack percentage. The Cowboys have enough talent on offense to pose a threat to LA. They are ninth in the league with 25.7 points per game and no. 1 with 430.8 total yards per contest.
The Cowboys are 3-3 ATS in their last six home games.
Writer’s Prediction
The Cowboys win, 28-23.
