The Eagles-Cowboys showdown in the last week of the regular season is expected to be one hell of a dogfight as the winner will take home a postseason berth and the NFC East title. Expect a playoff, must-win atmosphere in Arlington for Week 17.
UPDATE: NFL.com is reporting that Tony Romo has suffered a herniated disk. He has undergone surgery and will miss the game against the Eagles in Week 17.

Betting on the Philadelphia Eagles:
All that matters for the Eagles now is beating Dallas in their Week 17 match-up on Sunday Night Football. Dallas holds the head-to-head tie-breaker over the birds, and a win at home in Arlington would mean that they would make the playoffs instead of Philadelphia.
The Eagles had their worst offensive output against Dallas as they lost 17-3 in Week 7. But that was back before Philadelphia found its rhythm, winning five games through the next seven. League leader in rushing yards, LeSean McCoy, only had 55 yards in that game. He’ll have the chance to make up for that lackluster performance when he leads the NFL’s top rushing team in what could be the Eagles’ most important game of the regular season – and against a Cowboys defense that doesn’t seem to offer much resistance.
Philadelphia is the league’s best in rushing with 152.9 yards per game, and McCoy and company will look to ram their running down the throats of the Dallas’ D, which is only 28th in the NFL in stopping the ground game (129.9 allowed yards per game). Philadelphia is 4-1 SU and ATS in its last five road games.
Bet on the Philadelphia Eagles now.
Betting on the Dallas Cowboys:
The manner in which the Cowboys lost to Green Bay in Week 15 is still haunting fans of America’s team. But the door to the playoffs is still open and the Cowboys can still sneak right through it. [sc:NFL240banner ]
A Wild Card berth is no longer possible for the Boys. That means that the only way Dallas makes it is if they win the NFC East division title. To accomplish that, the Cowboys needed a win against the Redskins — which they managed — and now they need another against the Eagles in their last game of the season.
The stars have aligned for the game in Week 17, so expect an electrifying atmosphere at Cowboys Stadium in Week 17 as whoever wins will claim the division title, and more importantly, a spot in the playoffs.
Including their 17-3 win over the Eagles in Week 7, the Cowboys are 3-0 SU in their last three meetings with Philadelphia.
Bet on the Dallas Cowboys now.
