The Tennessee Titans, who are undefeated in four games, just lost their MVP, but they can prove there’s more to them than just Derrick Henry. They will have the one-loss Los Angeles Rams to deal with on the road this coming Sunday, which is a great chance for the Titans to show that they are still a team to reckon with. Meanwhile, the Rams are looking to extend their unbeaten streak to five games.

Betting on the Tennessee Titans (+8)
Regular Season Record: 6-2
The biggest item to know about the Titans is that running back Derrick Henry is out for multiple weeks after suffering a foot injury in Tennessee’s 34-31 win on the road over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8. With Henry out, the Titans signed future Hall of Famer running back Adrian Peterson. However, expectations of Peterson should be damped down, considering the 2012 NFL MVP’s age and inactivity. Henry’s injury should put more focus on Ryan Tannehill and the Titans’ passing attack that will rely more on the tandem of Julio Jones and AJ Brown. These two receivers are going to stretch the field for each other and for Peterson, but the offensive line will also have to step up for Tennessee against the Rams, who have just added Von Miller.
The Titans are 4-0 against the spread in their last four games overall.
Betting on the Los Angeles Rams (-8)
Regular Season Record: 7-1
The Rams bulked up defensively, as they traded for pass rusher Von Miller to give Los Angeles a terrifying combo of Miller and Aaron Donald in the front seven. They are two of the most prolific pass rushers of this generation, and to have this tandem debut in Week 9 against the Titans’ leaky offensive line almost sounds unfair. Miller is questionable with an ankle issue, but even if he will need at least another week out of action, the Rams should still have plenty of success against Tennessee’s pass protection that ranks fourth-worst in the NFL heading into Week 9 in terms of QB sack rate. As for their offense, Los Angeles is fifth overall with 30.6 points per game and also fifth in total offense with 405.9 total yards per game.
The Rams are 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 games versus a team with a winning record.
Writer’s Prediction
The Rams win, 30-23.
