The road loss on Jan. 25 to Marquette is long forgotten. Second-ranked Nova’s won its next six games (1-5 ATS) since that upset, including victories over then-No. 12 Virginia and then-No. 24 Xavier.

Not only have the reigning national champs won six in a row, but they’ve done so convincingly. They boast an average winning margin of 10.6 points and held all but one opponent—St. John’s—to no more than 64 points during that stretch.

The Wildcats’ top point-getter, Josh Hart (18.7 PPG), continues to deliver the goods, scoring in double figures in every game this season. There’s also Jalen Brunson (14.3), Kris Jenkins (13.0) and Mikal Bridges (10.7) powering an offense that racks up almost 80 points per contest.

Hart, however, was held to a season-low 11 points in the previous meeting with Seton Hall a month ago. Villanova still won that game in dominant fashion, 76-46.

Betting on the Seton Hall Pirates (16-9, 6-7 Big East)

Seton Hall will be bringing in newfound confidence in this final meeting with No.2 Villanova. The Pirates are coming off one of their best wins of the season on Wednesday night, when they pulled off the 87-81 upset against No. 20 Creighton.

To put it simply, Khadeen Carrington had the game of his life there. He torched the Bluejays with a career-high 41 points on 66.7 percent shooting together with five rebounds, seven assists and four steals. He leads Seton Hall with 17.6 points per game this season.

His fellow juniors Desi Rodriguez and Angel Delgado added 18 and 17 points, respectively, on a night where the Pirates shot 51.0 percent as a team and dominated the glass with a 42-25 rebounding edge.

If it’s still not obvious, Seton Hall needs another performance akin to the Creighton game in order to come up with the upset against Nova. The Pirates are 9-1 SU and 6-4 ATS in their last 10 home games.
