So much for September. The first month of the NFL season has come and gone, with about four more left to look forward to. But before September truly rides off into the sunset, let’s first give due recognition to ten of the hottest NFL cheering squads that definitely helped make September a month to remember.

10. Jacksonville Jaguars
[sc:NFL240banner ]Unlike the Jaguars, the Jacksonville Roar have started the season on fire with some scintillating performances in September. Their snappy little number wearing denim jackets (over their trademark Jaguar-print tops) and matching daisy dukes against the Dolphins, in particular, helped inspire the team to a big win over Miami.
9. Philadelphia Eagles
Good thing Chip Kelly doesn’t have control over the Philadelphia Eagles’ cheerleaders. The Eagles cheerleaders have brought their A-game in September, and have had better blocking in their routines wearing sumptuous three-toned unis than the Eagles O-line.
8. Carolina Panthers
Cam Newton has looked good leading his decrepit Panthers team to a perfect record in September, but he’s still not on the level of the sultry TopCats, who have looked simply stunning while cheering the team on in their bedazzled Panthers uniforms.
7. Washington Redskins
The First Ladies of Football and their trendy two-toned ensembles helped inspire the team to its first win over the season against St. Louis. But those wins might be few and far between if Kirk Cousins keeps joining the First Ladies on the sidelines after he throws another bad pick.
6. New Orleans Saints
There wasn’t anything remotely sensational about the Saints’ play in September, particularly with Drew Brees out injured. But the sexy Saintsations are the lone exception, with their seductive black and gold ensembles and spellbinding choreography stealing the show at the Superdome.
5. Minnesota Vikings
Even though they might not be the most historically accurate, the Minnesota Vikings cheerleaders have dazzled in their lady Vikings cheering outfits, much like how Adrian Peterson has slowly begun to dazzle with his awesome play back in the backfield.
4. Arizona Cardinals
The Arizona Cardinals cheerleaders’ uniforms aren’t the only thing that’s red hot in the desert. With Carson Palmer and Larry Fitzgerald turning back the clock and leading Arizona to a perfect September, the Cards cheerleaders could have a lot more reasons to cheer in the coming weeks.
3. Dallas Cowboys
What list of NFL cheerleaders is complete without the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders? Even though Tony Romo and Dez Bryant are both long-term absentees, the presence of these talented ladies means there will always be stars on show at Jerry World. Who knows, maybe one of them is actually a better quarterback than Brandon Weeden.
2. Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati BenGals, dressed in their fierce tiger-striped outfits, aren’t the only ones constantly celebrating at the end zone these days. That’s ‘cause the Red Rifle himself, Andy Dalton, has been on fire and finished September with eight touchdowns (tied for fourth in the NFL).
1. New England Patriots
One thing’s for sure: there’s definitely nothing deflated (or deflating) when it comes to the perky New England Patriots Cheerleaders. These patriotic young women wearing red, white and blue unis that show off their assets quite nicely have plenty of reasons to cheer with Tom Brady and co. once again tearing through the NFL.
