And once again, the New England Patriots’ Stephen Gostkowski is going to be the most sought-after kicker for fantasy owners in the upcoming season. This is a no-brainer, as the 11-year veteran has been fantasy’s highest-scoring kicker for the past three seasons. He has also led all kickers in the league in points in the last two years (307) and ranks third overall in field-goal attempts (73) and accuracy (93.2%).

2. Steven Hauschka (Seattle Seahawks)

2015 Stats: 29 FGM, 40 XPM, 127 total points

2015 Fantasy Points: 144

2016 Fantasy Points Projection: 145

Steven Hauschka of the Seattle Seahawks is arguably just as lethal as the player above. He went 6-for-6 on field goals of 50 yards and above last season, and his accuracy percentage was eye-popping as well at 93.5, good for third-best in the league. Hauschka also ranked fifth among kickers in terms of fantasy points during that same season.

Justin Tucker of the Baltimore Ravens

3. Justin Tucker (Baltimore Ravens)

2015 Stats: 33 FGM, 29 XPM, 128 total points

2015 Fantasy Points: 139

2016 Fantasy Points Projection: 140

Consistent would be the best word to describe Justin Tucker. Since making it into the NFL, the Baltimore Ravens kicker has managed to finish each of his four seasons among the top-11 kickers in fantasy points. He just converted 33 of his 40 field goals in 2015, but those attempts were the most in the league.

That really goes to show how much faith his team has in him. Tucker, who has nailed 87.8 percent of his field-goal attempts, is in line for another very productive campaign this year.

4. Dan Bailey (Dallas Cowboys)

2015 Stats: 30 FGM, 25 XPM, 115 total points

2015 Fantasy Points: 129

2016 Fantasy Points Projection: 135

You won’t be unhappy about having Dan Bailey of the Dallas Cowboys on your fantasy team. He is, after all, the league’s all-time leader in field-goal accuracy at 90.6 percent. And serving as a testament to that was his efforts in 2015, a season in which Bailey converted 30 of his 32 attempts and made each of his 25 extra-point attempts. He also still finished 11th amongst all kickers in fantasy scoring during that same year despite the Cowboys’ horrific offensive averages.

5. Adam Vinatieri (Indianapolis Colts)

2015 Stats: 25 FGM, 32 XPM, 107 total points

2015 Fantasy Points: 121

2016 Fantasy Points Projection: 140

Adam Vinatieri had a fairly quiet 2015 season. He finished just 15th in fantasy points, but was able to have seven top-10 weeks amongst all kickers. Those inconsistent numbers were mainly caused by the Indianapolis Colts’ offensive struggles and Andrew Luck’s injury. This upcoming season, though, you can expect Vinatieri to become a top-five kicker once again with Luck back at full strength.
