Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Portland Trail Blazers (10:00 PM ET)
Line: Cleveland Cavaliers (-2.5) at Portland Trailblazers (+2.5); total 202.5 – view these lines
LeBron James bounced back big time with 36 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four steals against Chicago after disappointing with 17 points and eight turnovers against the Knicks in the Cavaliers’ home opener. James could be up for another big game when he takes on the Portland Trail Blazers tonight. He has averaged 29.4 points on 52.9 percent shooting with 9.4 rebounds per game against Portland.
Meanwhile, the Trail Blazers may miss point guard Damian Lillard due to a strained abdomen. However, they still have LaMarcus Aldridge to take care of the scoring, having averaged 25 points in three games. Aldridge has also made his presence felt inside the paint with 6.7 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game. He should be an interesting matchup for Cleveland’s star power forward Kevin Love.
Writer’s Prediction
The Cavaliers win and cover -2 on the road.
